How to Speak Up for Your Gifted Learner

Description

How to Speak Up for Your Gifted Learner

Tuesday, November 17th at 6:30pm | Location: TBA

How do you start a conversation with your school when your gifted learner needs more challenge or support? And how can you help your child learn to ask for what they need?

Join GC-SAGE past president Kim Farbisz for a practical program on gifted advocacy. Kim will explain how factors outside the classroom can shape your child’s education and how you can work with your school to address their impact. She’ll walk through five steps for effective gifted advocacy, explain why each matters, and share ways to help your child speak up for themselves at school.

Whether you’re preparing for your first conversation with a teacher or helping your child take a more active role in their education, you’ll leave with steps you can put into practice.
